In the garden of love, an unlikely pair--a black swan and a white flamingo-- gracefully illustrate a profound theme.  The black swan serves as a reminder to transcend positions where you feel controlled by external forces, while the black swan symbolizes spiritual love and freedom.  Flamingos are white before they are mature.
